January 23, 2005 -- The goal of the event is to provide education to the community on matters in regard to their medical insurance and medical bills. Those seeking assistance will have their bills reviewed in-depth by medical administration professionals and receive free advice.



Special times have been scheduled at local libraries for the event. Members of the community are encouraged to bring their medical bills of members in the household to receive advice on unpaid claims. The service date on the claims must not be more than a year old. Those seeking advice must not be employed in the medical industry.



This event promises to be beneficial to the community and healthcare providers. Champs believes that the community should educate themselves in order to become advocates in managing their health coverage. Furthermore, the community must learn how to properly take action against managed care companies when their claims are denied, rejected and reduced in payment. Champs is in the position to act as an educational resource for the community.



Champs is a coalition of medical administrative professionals who service healthcare providers. Acting as a referral and service base for the medical community, Champs is committed to educating the community about industry trends and changes in regard to medical administration.
