LearnSomething, a recognized leader in association learning services, will be attending the NiUG Discovery Conference at Baltimore'ss Hyatt Regency on the Inner Harbor, September 28-30, 2009.
LearnSomething'ss e-learning services and solutions have attracted keen interest at AMS user group conferences because of the plug and play approach to full integration LearnSomething has
continually worked to achieve. LearnSomething has developed close partner relationships with ASI and other major AMS providers.
Mark Lambertson, LearnSomething'ss Vice President for Association and Channel Sales, recognizes that seamless integration with any AMS is an absolute must. We'sve been committed to
understanding what e-learning means from an association'ss perspective from the beginning -- and being in constant direct contact with the AMS user community allows us to be in sync with
the latest advancements and challenges.
Lambertson points out that most LMS developers started out building a solution for HR departments and not associations, so until they entered into the association market they did not
understand that the AMS-LMS relationship is essential. If the LMS doesn'st support single sign on, seamless integration with e-business, real time reporting of learning activity and
automated transfer of data to the AMS out of the box, an association'ss e-learning initiative could easily be compromised before it really gets going.
He continued in saying that many associations have found out after they have chosen an LMS vendor that the vendor'ss definition of full integration might only mean single sign-on, which
is only one of four elements he see as being crucial.
The NiUG conference is a perfect event, he says, for the LearnSomething LMS. It'ss filled with people who are passionate about the iMIS AMS and we feed off that passion. We always leave
with at least one new view on how to perfect AMS to LMS integration, and that is exactly what we need to hear. We love to get tested by people who really know their stuff.
