PatentStorm Releases U.S. Patent Applications and Other Features



PatentStorm (http://www.patentstorm.us/), the searchable website of millions of U.S. patents, has expanded its free offerings, providing access to yet-to-be- approved U.S. patent applications. PatentStorm has also completed a host of other improvements, making it even easier to find and download full-text patents.



This is just the beginning, said Jock Friedly, PatentStorm'ss founder and president. We expect to launch a series of additional features in the coming months and years.



The new site offers advanced search features to help users quickly find the exact information they need. Users can search for keywords, inventors and other criteria across both patent applications and approved patents. Users can view patent information by date, by inventor name, by law firm or patent agent representing the inventors, by the official examiner assigned to approve the patent and in a number of other ways.



PatentStorm'ss patents and applications are available in text form for optimal online viewing, and as easy-to-download PDFs containing all diagrams and text in a printable format. The site includes both utility patents, which describe the way an invention works, and specialty patents, including object designs and plants that can be grown.



Based in Washington, DC, PatentStorm was founded in 2004 and has become a leading patent information provider, having served tens of millions of users. The database includes millions patents and applications from as far back as 1976 forward, covering almost anything imaginable.
