May 14, 2005 -- Physician Micro Systems, Inc. (PMSI), a leader in the development of electronic health records (EHR), practice management, and computerized physician order entry (CPOE)
software, has been selected as a finalist in two categories in the Sixth Annual Toward an Electronic Patient Record (TEPR) awards. For the second year in a row, the Medical Records
Institute named PMSI's Practice Partner Patient Records as a finalist in the categories of EHR systems for solo and small practices and EHR systems for medium and large practices. A panel
of independent judges recognized Practice Partner as one of three superior solutions in these categories.
The Medical Records Institute will officially announce the awards for each category during the TEPR Opening Session on May 16th. "PMSI is honored to be recognized by the Medical Records
Institute," said Andrew Ury, M.D., founder and president of PMSI. "It is a validation of our hard work and dedication to creating EHR software that truly helps physicians increase
productivity and improve quality of care."
PMSI will also be exhibiting at the TEPR Conference. Attendees can visit PMSI and see a demonstration of Practice Partner at Booth #805.
