Cincinnati SubZero Awarded Premier Supplier Contract for Therapeutic Hypothermia Line



Cincinnati Sub-Zero (CSZ) Medical, a division of CSZ Products, Inc. and the leader in the design and development of advanced patient temperature management solutions, today announced its award of a 36-month supplier agreement by Premier Purchasing Partners, LP. The new agreement centers on CSZ Medical industry-leading, non-invasive therapeutic hypothermia solutions, including CSZ Medical hyper-hypothermia products as well as localized heat therapy and cold therapy products.

More than 2,000 hospitals in the U.S. as well as more than 50,000 other healthcare facility sites buy many of their supplies and services through Premier's 1,300 contracts. The new three-year CSZ contract follows a prior three-year arrangement, offering purchasing stability to Premier alliance members and ensuring ongoing availability of increasingly adopted CSZ Medical therapeutic hypothermia products and accessories.

CSZ products in the Premier contract include the Whole Body Cooling System, combining the Kool-Kit (CSZ Head Wrap, Patient Vest, and Lower Body Blanket) with the Blanketrol III Hypo-Hyperthermia System, the Micro-Temp LT Heat Therapy System, Maxi-Therm and Maxi-Therm Lite, Temp-Pad Heat Therapy Pads, PlastiPad Blankets, the Electri-Cool II Localized and Portable Cold/Heat Therapy Systems, ImmobilICE Pads, and the Gelli-Roll Patient Temperature Management and Tissue Pressure Reduction Solution.
