Ambir Technology to Exhibit at HIMSS 2009 Annual Conference andExhibition



Ambir Technology, Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of digital capture products will be exhibiting at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2009 Conference and Exhibition April 5-8 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. Ambir staff members will be at booth # 663 demonstrating the company'ss new innovative imaging software, AmbirScan MD. One of AmbirScan MD'ss most prominent features is its ability to scan two documents and turn them into one image. Other noteworthy features include: an auto print setting that prints documents as soon as they are scanned, a default save setting that saves files to a preset location, and an auto scan setting that allows automatic document feeding (ADF). In addition, Ambir Technology will demonstrate its line of document and ID card scanners as well as a new product for tracking sales of pseudoephedrine-based cold and allergy medicines.



We wanted to create a product that would allow medical personnel at registration points greater control over their scans, said Mike O'sLeary, CEO, Ambir Technology. We hope customers enjoy the customization and flexibility of this application.



The annual HIMSS Conference and Exhibition attracts thousands of people from the health care and health information technology industries to the many educational sessions relating to health IT. The event also brings in hundreds of exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations in health IT and other similar areas.
