After nine years of practicing plastic surgery as a cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon for the prominent practice Atlanta Plastic Surgery, Mark F. Deutsch, MD FACS, is striking out on his own with a new venture called Perimeter Plastic Surgery. This new operation has two locations, one on Johnson's8217;s Ferry Road by Northside Hospital and the other in Fayetteville on Lanier Avenue.

ATLANTA, Ga July 26, 2006 -- After nine years of practicing plastic surgery as a cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon for the prominent practice Atlanta Plastic Surgery, Mark F. Deutsch, MD FACS, is striking out on his own with a new venture called Perimeter Plastic Surgery. This new operation that has two locations, one on Johnson's8217;s Ferry Road by Northside Hospital and the other in Fayetteville on Lanier Avenue.



A graduate of the University of South Florida Medical School, he completed his residency in general surgery at Louisiana State University Medical Center / Charity Hospital in New Orleans; his fellowship in plastic surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York; and a fellowship in micro vascular surgery at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.



After a decade, Dr. Deutsch, board certified in cosmetic plastic and reconstructive surgery, decided to branch out on his own to serve the growing plastic surgery needs of Atlantans. Perimeter Plastic Surgery is a boutique-style facility that is just right for patients seeking elective surgery or more personalized attention. Author of several articles on cancer reconstruction, Dr. Deutsch has earned a solid reputation in the field as an expert on all parts of the body, not just the breasts or face. Perimeter Plastic surgery will offer the latest techniques for popular cosmetic / reconstructive procedures such as breast augmentation and reduction, facial plastic surgeries, abdominoplasty, liposuction, Botox's8482;, and more. Dr. Deutsch has hospital affiliations at Aesthetica Surgery Center, Northside Hospital, St. Joseph's8217;s Hospital, Children's8217;s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, Piedmont Hospital, Southern Regional Medical Center, Fayette Medical Center and other surgery centers. In addition to managing his new practice, Dr. Deutsch serves as a volunteer surgeon helping underprivileged children in South America.
