Hall Wellness Institute Heals Mind and Spirit Along with Body

Dr. Anthony Hall is a physician in Evansville, Indiana who is committed to bringing wellness to poor people and minorities who are at risk for a variety of health problems, and he and his practice, the Hall Wellness Center, were recently featured in Evansville Living, a local magazine, because he not only addresses issues with the body, but issues with the spirit and mind as well.

"Our culture seems to tune in to crisis and drama," said Dr. Hall in the feature. "That's not healthy. We have to learn not to be like that."

Dr. Hall has had over 30 years of practice, but feels that patients relate most to the fact that he was addicted to prescription drugs and had his practice taken away because it allows him more insight that have helped him become a better physician and a wiser person.

Hall argues that addictions, self defeating behaviors and some physical ailments are symptoms of diseases of perception, and feels that by changing the way people view various situations, events and people in life causes people to become more peaceful, reducing the stress and anxiety that can lead to illness.

"There's a harmony of spirit, and if we get in tune with it we're likely to be happier and healthier," says Hall. "Contentment improves our physical and mental health. But it has to begin within each of us. It's an inside job."
