Participants Needed for Online Study on Depression and Eating Disorders

June 27, 2005 -- MySelfHelp.com is conducting a worldwide search for participants to take part in a clinical study that measures the effectiveness of online, interactive programs for depression, eating disorders, and related mental health problems.

Participants are eligible if they 1) suffer from depression, binge eating, or bulimia, and 2) are currently experiencing symptoms.

Individuals can participate regardless of whether they are currently receiving treatment.

Each participant will receive a free three-month membership to MySelfHelp.com programs, and will be asked to answer questions at the beginning and end of the study.

Participants will remain anonymous. Results will be available upon request.

MySelfHelp.com online, interactive, self-help programs were developed in part through grants from the National Institute of Mental Health, and are currently being used in 30 countries throughout the world.

Individuals and healthcare professionals who would like more information on the clinical study should send an email to e-mail protected from spam bots or call 508-393-5638 and ask for Judy Rapa or Caren Kenney.
