Denman Davis Announces OEM Partnership Program

Denman & Davis, the Northeast's8217;s largest general-line independent steel service center, announces a new value-added partnership program available to all OEM customers.



The program enables OEMs to take advantage of Denman & Davis's8217; fabrication services earlier in the ordering process. Providing this service before shipping saves time and money for the OEMs. It also improves delivery consistency by enabling Denman & Davis to schedule and manage the entire process.

's8220;With our new partnership program, Denman & Davis will complete the early stage fabrication, like bending, heat treating, welding, etc., before we ship to the OEM's8217;s. The biggest value is cost savings and on-time delivery without OEMs having to spend extra time to coordinate the process.'s8221;



Instead, Altieri said, Denman & Davis will coordinate the entire process.



's8220;We will deliver the materials in whatever condition our customers want,'s8221; Altieri said. 's8220;Behind the scenes, the material may go to several different fabricators before it's8217;s delivered to the customer. We have the cost advantage because we can use our strategic fabricators where we may not be delivering a single piece but multiple pieces and where we can bundle the freight costs. This program passes those savings on to the OEMS.'s8221;
