EtQ Announces Job Safety Analysis Module in Latest Release of ItsReliance...

EtQ, Inc. (www.etq.com) has announced the release of its Job Safety Analysis (JSA) module in the release of Reliance 6.2.

EtQ (www.etq.com) recognized the need for a function that enables a proactive method of mitigating risk in each individual job function and implemented the JSA for this purpose.

EtQ'ss JSA module breaks down a job position into various steps in order to analyze each step for potential safety hazards, identify each step'ss associated hazards, analyze the risk of the hazard occurring, and determine preventive measures such as personal protective equipment (PPE) to be used, and counter measures that should be put in place. EtQ'ss Risk Assessment tools provide the core technology necessary to determining the risk of a hazard occurring.EtQ'ss JSA module also has the ability to conduct a Risk Assessment to measure the residual risk of identified hazards.

EtQ'ss Job Safety Analysis function is a proactive method for identifying hazards within each job function, as opposed to relying on after-the-fact data, stated Morgan Palmer, Chief Technology Officer at EtQ. The end result is the ability to sort job positions by risk and color code in order to see the highest risk as well as the residual risk to determine whether or not the job process is safe and what can be done to make the position even safer.
