Bookmakers Lose 40 Million as Grand National Website Tips 1st 2nd and 4th Placed Horses

Over 1 million people visited the nets second most popular Grand National website (source Google) Grand-National.me.uk (http://www.grand-national.me.uk) in the run-up to Saturday's race at Aintree and those visitors who picked up on the websites hot tips will be smiling all the way to the bookies this morning.

The Grand National is a notoriously difficult race in which to tip a winner however, the site Grand-National.me.uk not only tipped the winner, but also tipped the 2nd and the 4th placed horses. The incredible trio of tips outperformed all others on the day including, the BBC, Racing Post and all the national newspapers.

Unlike most tipsters Simone Wright who compiled the tips on Grand-National.me.uk did not include the pre-race favourite Cloudy Lane in her selections. When asked how she chose the amazing trio of tips she replied "It's not nearly as difficult as most people think. With some good research you can discount over half the runners instantly due to age, weight, nationality and stamina. Even though Cloudy Lane was the pre race favourite, I didn't include him in the selections as he's a little young and unlike me he's not Irish!"

Simone was the only tipster to give the nod to 25/1 long shot King John's Castle who narrowly missed out on winning the race. King John's Castle was one of three horses entered by Irish owner JP McManus. Simone added "Like JP McManus I'm also from Limerick so I follow his horses closely. I thought that King John's Castle was the pick of his bunch, my only doubt was if he could handle the step up in distance which he did brilliantly." Asked if she followed her own tips (http://www.grand-national.me.uk/grandnationaltips.php) Simone replied "I did back all my tips, but like every punter who wins, I just wish I'd have put more money on them than I did!".
