Idaho author Elaine Ambrose (www.elaineambrose.com) is one hot woman. After enduring the indignities and inconveniences of menopause, she decided to write about her experiences and offer suggestions to help other women cope with the ultimate body betrayal. She co-authored a sassy book titled Menopause Sucks -- What to Do When Hot Flashes Make You and Everyone Else Miserable. The 258-page book is published by Adams Media and will be released nationally in July. It sells for $12.95 and can be found at local book stores, on Amazon.com or directly from the author.

Throughout the book, Ambrose offers amusing advice about how to surf the live volcano flow of menopause without hurting anyone or being arrested. She provides advice about how to discreetly squeegee the sweat from your forehead. She'll tell you how to endure incontinence, hairy toes, memory loss, and limp libido. She'll also describe how to jump off your mood swing. Finally, she'll warn everyone that 1,500 women a day enter menopause, so be careful because they could be driving next to you! Ambrose wrote the book with best-selling author Joanne Kimes. Find more information at www.elaineambrose.com.
