Adverts Set to Quench Thrill Buds

Ladbrokescasino.com Europe's premier online casino site, will this week unveil two further television adverts in its 'Quench Your Thrill Buds' series, after the successful launch of the first creative Climb earlier this year. Continuing the theme of profiling insatiable daredevils who go to extreme lengths in the quest to fulfil their thrill-seeking needs, Shark and Parachute have already achieved critical acclaim as finalists in the Entertainment and Leisure category at the 55th international advertising festival in Cannes.

Shot in documentary style, both adverts describe the measures the thrill-seekers go to in pursuit of their adventures. Parachute sees pilot and skydiving pioneer J. 'Snake Eyes' Kowalski recount the ill-fated story of parachutist Ted who goes to extreme lengths to test smaller and smaller chutes for his skydives. Sadly the intrepid adventurer's quest for thrills comes to a dramatic end when he attempts a dive with only an empty 30 gram crisp packet to act as a parachute, much to the disbelief of his mentor.

Shark features oceanic guru Willem Snyman narrating the doomed tale of notorious shark diver Bakkies. Once the fearless diver had experienced the water outside a cage, nothing could stop Bakkies from getting as close as possible to the Great Whites. Pushing the boundaries of shark diving to the limit, Willem recounts how one day Bakkies meets his match, dressed as a giant seal, leaving only his flipper behind.

The adverts have gone on to gain critical acclaim and tap into the thrills players can experience both on the move with Ladbrokes Mobile Casino and online at Ladbrokescasino.com. Devised by M&C Saatchi, produced by cutting-edge TV production company Knucklehead and directed by Stella Artois short film award winners Zak and Dan, the three adverts will air on multichannel, ITV1 and Channel 4 from Monday 4th August.

Tim Duffy, Chief Executive at M&C Saatchi said, "Ladbrokescasino.com is in the entertainment business, so naturally we wanted to entertain people with the TV ad and show just how thrilling Ladbrokescasiono.com is. We ourselves are thrilled with the success of the campaign so far."

Natalie Coles, Head of Marketing at Ladbrokescasino.com said, "We wanted to highlight the excitement and variety of thrills on offer at Ladbrokescasino.com in our television ads. We had great feedback following the launch of Climb in April this year and to get Shark and Parachute shortlisted in the final at Cannes was a real honour. We hope customers enjoy the remaining two adverts and remember that Ladbrokescasino.com is the number one destination for those seeking a thrill this summer."
