Turning Point Magazine Publisher Comments on the Death of Publishing Pioneer John H Johnson

Today, Pat Means, publisher of Turning Point Magazine, released the following statement regarding the life of John H. Johnson:

"On behalf of the staff of Turning Point Magazine, I extend my sincere condolences to the family of John H. Johnson, one of America's publishing legends. Mr. Johnson served as my role model for his courage and creativity in building the largest African American publishing company in the world. His presentation of the many positives about African American culture educated the world, and more importantly, showed millions of young blacks that it is possible to succeed at one's ambitions. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Eunice Johnson and their entire family. May God continue to bless all of them."
