Beauty and Art Join Forces to Benefit Local Orphans in Baja at Las...

Nestled on the shores of Puerto Nuevo, just south of Rosarito Beach, Las Ventanas (www.las-ventanas.com), a Baja real estate community by Irvine developer Waterfront Villages, is host to a designer showcase home and art exhibition to benefit local orphans. Well known interior designer Nicole Collins of Designed Living International worked her magic on one of the Owner's Reserve homes. She specializes in creating complete, exciting and welcoming living spaces for discerning clients in Mexico and California.

Nicole's approach to this showcase home is to complement the world-class architecture and provide finishes that turn the house into a home for one very fortunate buyer. Designed Living International complete decorating packages include linens, dinner and glassware, cutlery, wine openers, televisions, sound system everything you need to enjoy your home without the worry and hassle of doing it yourself.

"Las Ventanas is such a beautiful place and the architecture is so lovely that having the opportunity to create a special beach retreat is a privilege," said Nicole Collins. A silent auction to benefit the orphanage will be held at 5:30 p.m., which will include donations of art, vacations, restaurant dining, spa packages and other surprises including the showcase home. These wonderful prizes benefit the winners and most important, the children.

Festivities are scheduled from 1p.m. to 7 p.m. and will include music, refreshments, extensive art walk, silent auction and the grand finale -- the unveiling of Designed Living International transformational home showcase. Art will be available for purchase with artists donating a portion of their proceeds to Door of Faith Orphanage. There is a $10 per person at the door the day of the event or $5 for advanced registration on the website. Waterfront Villages and Designed Living International will donate 100% of all funds received over cost to Door of Faith.
