CONSOR's slate of multi-state approved CLE programs have been expanded to the state of Virginia with the addition of the course entitled "Damages, Valuation and Experts in IP Litigation".
This new CLE program focuses on the use of expert witnesses in litigation of intellectual property of all types, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, software, along with other
intangible assets. This CLE program is an outgrowth of CONSOR's forthcoming new book from the ABA entitled, "Valuation, Damages and Expert Witnesses," which is the third in a series of
books from the ABA authored by CONSOR. Among the courses available for 1.0 or 1.5 hours of CLE credit are the following:
- IP Licensing and Leveraging
- Effective Entertainment and IP Litigation Support and Valuation
- Damage Calculations and Valuation Methodologies
- Managing IP for Value Maximization
- Managing and Valuing IP and Technology Assets in Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and M & A
Any or all of these CLE programs are available to be taught either online or in a venue chosen by the professional firm. The instructors for the CLE are drawn from CONSOR's team of
executives. It is notable that these same CONSOR executive are also the certified instructors for the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) courses on intellectual
property valuation.
