Most professionals have an important project that they have not been able to complete. Failure to complete this goal can become a serious hindrance in their professional success. A new,
nine-week "Get In Gear" program, run by business and executive coach Anne Alexander of Authentic Alternatives Business Breakthroughs Coaching in Asheville, N.C., delivers the strategies
and tools needed to complete the project.
A critical project or goal can remain elusive due to a number of factors such as lack of clarity about how to do it, fear, procrastination, or work overload. The Get In Gear Program
provides the tools needed to break through the inertia or block and accomplish the goal. The program begins Sept. 28, 2005 and will be given through conference call, e-mail and individual
coaching calls. It is available to anyone regardless of location, who has access to a phone and the Internet.
When projects remain on the to-do list for an extended period of time they begin to take significant amount of energy that is needed to succeed in one's work. "The effect may be obvious
or it may be more subtle," said Alexander, "but either way it has a big impact on the quality and quantity of everything else you do. The idea is to take a critical project that you have
been unable to finish, and through the support of a like-minded, committed group and an experienced coach, create a breakthrough."
A small group of eight people in the Get In Gear Program will meet for weekly conference calls, work on weekly assignments and exercises and have access to Alexander on an individual
basis by email and phone. Participants will work on diverse projects and will benefit from being part of a group that is committed to their goals. They will see how different people
tackle and succeed with various types of goals.
Alexander has been coaching business owners, executives and professionals since 2002, after a 20-year career in business. She has owned her own businesses, as well as worked in the areas
of sales and marketing, accounting, customer service and business brokerage. She completed her coach training through Coach U, the oldest and largest coach training school in the
world.
