Mark brings to Burning Tree over 30 years of executive, clinical and marketing excellence in the field of drug and alcohol treatment and a demonstrated track record of success. He
recently completed over a decade of successful leadership at Alina Lodge, a premiere long term rehabilitation center that celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2007. As CEO, Mark will
oversee all aspects of corporate operations, direction and growth of Burning Tree, now in its tenth year of operation as one of the industry's most innovative and effective treatment
centers.
"Burning Tree will benefit greatly from the skills and abilities of an industry leader like Mark," states founder David Elliott. He adds, "For the past year, we have been restructuring,
streamlining and improving corporate operations to better serve our clients under the leadership of Acting CEO and Chief Operating Officer, Curt Maddon. With Mark and Curt now leading the
wealth of talent at Burning Tree, there's no limit to what we will accomplish."
Mark's talents are abundant and his strengths are in staff development, building management, clinical and marketing teams, and leading drug and alcohol rehab treatment centers to greater
market share and unparalleled service to clients. In long term recovery himself for over 30 years, Mark brings his own life experience and wisdom in living sober everyday with the staff
and clients he serves. "I am very excited and honored to be at the helm of Burning Tree programs. Their clinical mission and integrity are very substantial and of the highest quality
standards in the industry today. We have an outstanding multidisciplinary staff and management team that will continue to provide excellent addiction/dual disorder rehabilitation services
for clients and their families in the national and local regions we serve."
In the area of staff development, Mark will be working very closely with Curt Maddon, COO, who will remain responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. "To work with a person
of Mark's caliber is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I am excited at the possibilities this presents for both Burning Tree and myself. I am absolutely certain he will take us to the
next level and beyond," said Maddon.
