New Floral Site Reaches Out to Growing Green Thumbs

When it comes to flower arranging, skills can vary based on a natural knack for putting certain flowers together, creating a positive aesthetic that can standout amongst the many pieces of home d's233;cor that populate someone'ss residency. Siblings Aaron and Laura Ward have started a site that allows people to find their inner artist through the medium of flower arrangement.

Laura is a flower expert and a whiz with arranging them, said Aaron Ward. I felt like we both had a really good opportunity to allow people to explore their hidden talents through a hobby like this.

The Wards launched www.FreshFlowerIdeas.com in September 2008 and it has since attracted an audience through their easy-to-follow video guide on creating the perfect arrangement.

On other websites, the cameras are focused on the person and not necessarily showing the process on how to create these arrangements, said Ward. Here, we'sve taken pictures and created a video slideshow for the people who find it easier to learn that way.

The site produces its own videos and already launched some winter holiday videos.

In addition to instructional videos, the site serves as a resource for budding flower arranging artists, as they have several links to where people can find the perfect flowers, vases and other accessories that would aid in the art of arranging.

Though the site itself exists as an instructional and informational platform, the Wards have recently launched a brand new blog to run in conjunction with the site.

We have articles on our blog, said Ward of www.FreshFlowerIdeasInfo.com, that are related to what we do. They are more concise versions of what we'sve done for our site, but they'sll be easy to understand for the quick readers. We'sll also have some various tips that we occasionally gloss over.
