Dominion Homes raised more than $40,000 for the March of Dimes's8217; Greater Columbus WalkAmerica held on Sunday, April
29. More than 100 employees from Dominion Homes and their families and friends set off at 10:00 am and walked five miles in and around the Easton shopping complex.
The effort was led by the Dominion Homes Dream Team, made up of 12-15 employees, who are responsible for selecting large-scale projects to champion as company-wide causes. Since its
creation in 2000, the team has organized and led employees to participate in 15 projects in Ohio and Kentucky. The Dream Team raised more money for this event than any other in its
history.
The Dream Team started fundraising efforts for WalkAmerica in early February. Donations were raised through internal fundraising challenges and individual donations from employees,
partners, friends, and family members.
's8220;We are very appreciative of the outpouring of support we received from our team to benefit the March of Dimes,'s8221; said Douglas G. Borror, chairman and CEO of Dominion Homes. 's8220;This is the Dream Team's8217;s fourth year participating in WalkAmerica, and we are proud that we were
able to exceed our goal donations again this year.'s8221;
The March of Dimes WalkAmerica is the first event of 2007 for the Dream team. Dominion Homes accepts requests from non-profit organizations on an ongoing basis that are reviewed and
