Outdoor Enthusiast Braves the Online Wilderness with New CampingBlog

I'sm part of a family of avid campers and outdoor people, and I just love any activity that'ss outdoors, said Sherry Talbot, founder of www.BackwoodsCampingStore.com. What I'sm most fond of is mountain camping, where the pines are tall and the lakes are crystal clear, she added.

For Talbot, launching a camping website seemed the natural choice. I'sve got so much experience with the outdoors and camping, and when I wanted to start an online business, it made sense to have a business I would know about.

Talbot plans to continue to expand her website to cover a broader range of products. I'sve been asked by several hunters to add optics to the website, so I'sm planning on adding spotting scopes, rifle scopes and rangefinders soon, said Talbot. I'sll also be adding a recipe page for campfire and Dutch oven recipes.

In order to open up a dialogue with other campers and outdoor enthusiasts, Talbot created a new blog at www.TheCampingGearGuru.com.

There'ss so much I want to do with the blog, I don'st even know where to begin, said Talbot while laughing. I'sll discuss topics like safety for the outdoors, how to cook over a campfire, how to survive outdoors and more as I think of it.

With several decades of camping experience, Talbot is sure to prove a valuable resource for both experienced campers and those new to camping. I'sd like to encourage people interested in the outdoors to ask questions, because chances are I have an answer.

Talbot believes her website is unique because she provides products based on their value to her customers. The products I have can fulfill several needs, whether that'ss hiking, camping or backpacking, and I want to make sure people have equipment that will last.
