Richburg Named Toastmaster of the Year



May 19, 2005 -- Ingrid Richburg was named Toastmaster of the Year at the District 14 Toastmasters Spring Conference held on May 14 in Atlanta. The award, which honors a Toastmaster who has provided extraordinary services to the organization, was presented to Richburg at the District's awards banquet held Saturday evening.



Richburg is a member of two Toastmasters clubs, the Stone Mountain Toastmasters and the Dawn Breakers Toastmasters Club, where she has held club offices and mentored several fellow club members. Richburg has been hailed as a Toastmaster who "has demonstrated a phenomenal commitment Toastmasters." In addition to serving as a club officer, she has also mentored struggling clubs, has served as a club sponsor and a club coach. Most recently, she chaired the Spring Conference committee. In the upcoming Toastmasters year, Richburg will serve as Division E Governor.



A respected and well-known member of Toastmasters in Georgia, Richburg can always be relied upon to go the extra mile. She is a fervent supporter of Toastmasters and the support and relationships that are the priceless peripheral benefits of belonging to this organization. Ingrid says, "We are all a family, we help each other."
