Saying Thank You Before Its Too Late Dr. Sams Unanticipated Hit Veterans...

Upon returning from a tour with his band (SEE: www.managedmusic.com ), Dr. Sam (Bierstock), a doctor, consultant, speaker, songwriter and entertainer, proceeded to pay for parking at a south Florida airport and bid the attendant a good evening. To his surprise the older man in the booth responded resentfully, I took two bullets for this country, and look what I am doing now! Dr. Sam received his change and drove off, then decidedly backed up to the booth telling the man, Sir, I have had a wonderful life in this country, and I want to thank you sincerely for what you did to preserve our way of life. Saying nothing, the man began to cry.

Haunted by the experience, Dr. Sam had realized that though relatives had perished in the Holocaust, perhaps if it had not been for those such as the veteran in the booth, today life would not be as we know it. In the morning Dr. Sam penned a lyric and later passed the words to keyboardist / composer John Melnick giving birth to the song: Before You Go, dedicated to Veterans of WW2 and also of Korea and Vietnam.

*Learning that Veterans in these groups were being lost at the alarming rate of some 1500 per day, Dr. Sam felt the urgency to get the word of appreciation out, making the song available on his website with an added pictorial.Predominantly by word of mouth, the site /song began to receive substantial traffic starting at about 500 downloads per day in 2005 and by current day (about a year later) has now reached plus 9 Million and counting, now averaging about 4000 per day. The songwriting team never anticipated such a response also resulting with Dr. Sam selling in excess of thousands of CD'ss & DVD'ss etc. that include the tribute. In addition the replies to this song continue to be received in mass quantities as Vets, their families and friends send their reciprocate thank you'ss for the song and also include personal stories of the wars and times, some of which are emotional and compelling. The song is being played at tribute ceremonies, in churches, schools, at funerals, and veterans's organizations all over the United States and has now spread worldwide.

Due to this ongoing outpour from the public thus far, many resulting projects are underway to continue delivering the message of gratitude to these hero'ss of freedom and with plans to donate portions of proceeds to assist Vets both domestically and to extend our thanks to our allies of Canada and Great Britain.
