Motorcycle Performance Intelligence Hits the Track
February 10, 2005 -- Nonlinear Engineering Inc. announced today that it has just launched an Infra-red Lap Time receiver add-on to the award winning Veypor line of products. The Veypor Infra-Red Lap Timer (VIR) turns the Veypor into a full-featured, high accuracy lap timing system.
The Veypor Infra-Red lap timer allows extremely accurate and automatic lap timing with 1/100th of a second accuracy. Laps are detected each time a trackside transmitter is passed and the Veypor automatically stores the lap number & time along with max speed, RPM and other parameters.
The VIR is easy to use and even easier to install. Simply plug it in to an existing Veypor unit, select the VIR Triggered mode from the Circuit Timer Menu and it's ready to go!
This now means the Veypor comes with 3 types of lap timing features, two of which come with the Veypor - the distance and button press lap timing - and now the Infra-red add-on option to allow users the highest degree of accuracy.
The VIR is on-sale now as an add-on to the existing Veypor product. It is for the professional, amateur and track day riders who what to have their lap times measured automatically and with precision. For more information about the VIR, please visit www.veypor.com.
