BMW R1200GS Editors Pick for 2004



February 8, 2005 -- We'd like to say it was close, we'd love to say it was a squeaker, but it wasn't. OneWheelDrive.Net's editor, Neil Johnston, made the call and the 2004 BMW R1200GS made the grade for one of the three best bikes of the year.

The 2004 BMW R1200GS beat out all the competition in the "All Rounder" category, or at least all the competition OneWheelDrive.Net's Editor had a chance to hustle around the roads and tracks of western North America.

As Editor Neil Johnston put it, "the R1200GS beat them all out in my mind, the V-strom, the Multistrada, the VFR, the ST4s. All Rounder is a pretty broad category definition and encompasses a wide range of bikes, but the big beemer really delivers on all levels."
