Competitive Edge Show to Feature Krooners

Signs for V Twin Bikes & Parts vie with the one that says Sushi, as bikes park in front of the small "world famous" shop. Inside, Japanese lanterns mingle with an old-fashioned Texaco gas pump, amidst T-shirts and biker gear.



How did this come to be Years ago an ethnically diverse group of bikers left from Los Angeles, looking for a ride. They ended up setting up headquarters in what was known as the "Old Krooners Building," a classy biker rest stop 30 miles east of Nashville. They decided to stay, took over management and improved upon the building, using it as a clubhouse and eventually even opening an upscale sushi bar to the public.



The bikers became known as the sushi dogs; they were welcome in the city and things went well. As the original members moved on, the classy sushi bar that now had a liquor license started to evolve into a tavern, where whiskey and beer flowed like a river, and eventually the spot was closed down.



But recently a descendant of one of the original group organizers, with the help of Internet sales of new motorcycle parts, has been able to buy the somewhat renowned "Krooners Building" and restore it back to the grand biker clubhouse it once was. There are games and machines, a massage couch, a jukebox, and much more, with the active sushi bar open six days a week.



Krooners is now a family place where bikers of any age can get the best prices on parts for any model anywhere in the world. Even Junior can get started riding. They have free demos on the USA custom-made "Mikey Bikes"(for ages 6 and up).



Founded in 1998 to with the simple mission to please the American V-twin Motorcyclist Enthusiast, now it offers superb customer service, fair prices and one-stop shopping for custom bike owners and builders as well as great sushi. Krooners also manufacturers specialty American custom cycles and organizes community charity events and rides.
