April 17, 2005 -- Spider's Den Inc., a leading USA-based manufacturer of leather motorcycle accessories, has announced a new aftermarket saddlebag that will allow Harley Davidson Softail
Deluxe, Fat Boy and Deuce owners to keep their bike stock, yet have the capacity needed for a long weekend get-away.
"Motorcycle owners with shotgun pipes have always faced a dilemma," says Denny Tefft, President of Spider's Den as he referred to the higher sitting exhaust, or shotgun pipes. "They pay a
good sum of money for these beautiful machines only to find out that if they want to travel a lot, they often have to replace the exhaust to mount larger saddlebags," he added. "This
solution will provide the best of both worlds."
The new aftermarket saddlebag preserves the 'stock' status of the motorcycle in that it does not require either turn signal relocation or modification to the exhaust. The new bag, dubbed
the 7109-BK, has approximately 1,350 cu. inches of capacity per side, for a total of nearly 2,700 cu inches. With over 28,000 various option combinations, a rider can literally design the
bag the way he or she wants. These features will also make these saddlebags useful to Yamaha 1100 Classic and Suzuki Intruder Volusia (Boulevard C50) owners as well.
