Trackpedia Inc has launched its Web 2.0 web site (http://www.trackpedia.com) to provide a web site containing everything that drivers who attend
track days or high performance driving schools need to know about attending or driving a track event. These drivers are typically with clubs such as the BMW Club, Audi Club and/or the
Porsche Club of America.
The web site incorporates both a wiki and forum component. The wiki provides pages on tracks around the world as well as articles on car preparation and attending the events. The track
pages include all commonly needed information on the track as well as track maps, driving notes, videos, weather, hotel booking aids, telemetry from various cars driving the track with
drivers of different skill levels. All content is editable by the community and new content can be contributed by the community also.
It's8217;s the first community supported Web 2.0 portal specifically targeting this community. The company provides data loggers and video cameras that can be easily installed in a car to
the community to obtain data on tracks at no cost.
