Francesco is an actor's actor, taking on characters as varied as 'Vlad' the Romanian Prince, to Syed Ali the Saudi terrorist on the series '24' all the way to his current performance as a Mexican cattle rustler, leading the film 'The Tonto Woman'.
"My first film was Platoon and from then on I thought it was going to be easy, but only twenty years later do I finally get to be in another Academy Award nominated movie," says Francesco, who is now well on his way to the big time with a performance being compared to some of the great leading actors of his father's day.
His versatile acting style has landed him multiple television roles with the most recent a 7 episode arc on the new & final season of "The Shield". He was nominated for an Alma Award as Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Soap Opera for his work as Tomas Del Cerro on Y&R. Francesco has appeared in 23 feature films including the New York Independent Film Festival winner 'Placebo Effect'. He has starred with his famous father in several films, including 'A Star For Two' with Lauren Bacall.
Born in Rome, but world traveled, he is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Italian.
"The Tonto Woman" is currently screening for Academy members at various locations in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
