Lets Go Chipper Series Excites and Readies Kids for Camping and the Great Outdoors

"How long till we get there" was the tune of a childhood one mother was determined not to lose--IAGmedia, Inc. introduces "Into the Great Outdoors" a get-ready series for families wavering over the idea of camping with kids. Online at www.intothegreatoutdoors.com.

With state and national parks reporting visitor attendance at record lows, and medical professionals reporting childhood obesity and psychological ailments at record highs, company founder and "get out and play" parent, Stephanie Rach-Wilson, takes her mission seriously.

"There is an underlying fear amongst parents that ranges from getting dirty or hurt, to abducted by a stranger and it's keeping parents from taking their kids outside so much so that kids don't even ask to climb a tree, swing, or make mud pies anymore," Ms. Rach-Wilson says. "But the minute you take a young child into the great outdoors to explore it is amazing how quickly their curiosity and sense of adventure takes over ...that is what we want to re-activate in parents and we're doing so by exciting and educating kids so they will ask to go back outside and play."

The 35-minute animated and live action DVD introduces Chipper, a city squirrel, to life beyond his back door. Chipper playfully teaches kids, through his own experiences, car safety, park safety, rules for camping, and the most important lesson: "You can play, but don't stray." The DVD includes a companion 52-page Activity and sing-along book and CD.

"Into the Great Outdoors" is the first in a series of explorations taking kids beyond the backyard and into nature. Each storyline is full of music, mishap, and humor providing valuable reference points for both parents and kids.

The made in the USA project is supported by a "Less Packaging, More Fun" campaign, encouraging other companies to use a "shrink to fit" mindset when packaging products. The Company uses FSC certified paper and soy based ink. Into the Great Outdoors is available at www.letsgochipper.com and specialty retailers. Suggested retail price is $29.95.

IAG media is a Bay Area media and marketing services company with a focus on family lifestyle companies. The Let's Go Chipper series launches the Company's original content division which focuses on storylines and products which foster respect for self, family, and contribution to community in young children.
