Foxalot Musics OneStop Music Licensing Site Now Open for Business
The music on Foxalot is eclectic, and you'll find things here that doesn't exist elsewhere: commercial spoofs complete with music and voiceovers, topics that cover sensitive issues such as violence in the schools ("A Zero With a Gun"), childlessness ("If I Only Had You"), and even a song about pitching tobacco to kids ("Buffalo Butts"--a takeoff on the infamous animated character Joe Camel).
Neal Fox is a veteran songwriter whose knack for story telling brings to mind Harry Chapin's "Sniper" and "Taxi." His career spans four decades and includes a charted single, "But I Could Reach the Wisdom of Solomon" (Polydor), and a Top Ten Dance Club Hit, "In the Jungle" (RCA).
A long list of credits from his former music production company-- Patterson, Walz & Fox--includes writing hundreds of commercials and network promos for which he received Clio and Telly awards. Fox also wrote and produced music for "Eye to Eye with Connie Chung," Bryant Gumbel's "Public Eye,"CBS Saturday Morning," the "CBS Evening News with Dan Rather" and two of the Killer Tomatoes movies.
Fox's sixth self-released CD, "Now It's Personal," arrives June 3rd, and those songs will also be available for licensing.
