Edited Entertainment to Merge with Family Flix
May 11, 2005 -- Edited Entertainment, based in Riverdale Utah, has announced plans to merge operations with Family Flix of Provo Utah.
"Edited Entertainment was founded to provide quality-edited movies to families that want to watch movies without any nudity, profanity, graphic violence and sexual content," said company president, Adam Brandley. "Family Flix has the same goals and concerns that we have."
Family Flix owner, Rich Teraci, said, "Family Flix removes objectionable material from movies you own or would like to purchase. Family Flix is the only service to receive the Dove edited seal of approval. Our professional service and quality products have satisfied thousands of families for over four years."
"There are many good themed movies out there that are damaged because the director or movie marketing staff throws in a few minutes of questionable scenes, which do not need to be in the movie," said Brandley. "Because of this, the film gets an R or PG-13 rating and is no longer suitable for a family setting. Our goal is to show the movie industry that there are many people out there that want movies, which are clean without any questionable material in them. The hope is that more movies will be produced that are family friendly and that these family friendly movies will have greater success than the movies with questionable content."
