Big Screen Entertainment Group Challenged With Court Action by Owners...

May 5, 2005 -- Big Screen Entertainment Group (OTC: BSEG, formerly known as Beverly Hills Film Studios) was recently challenged with a lawsuit filed by Michael Paloma (Case CV2005-003382, Maricopa County, AZ). Founder and Creator, Hollywood Producer/Director BJ Davis is also filing a cross-complaint in a current lawsuit (Case BC332342, Los Angeles, CA) and will challenge the settlement in the case Davis previously filed against the company (Case BC323455, Los Angeles, CA).



Davis represents that Kimberley Kates and the current management did not comply with the settlement agreement in the case filed against them by Davis, denying his portion of ownership, creative and business control in the company and the specific feature film "Forget About It" while slandering and defaming Davis publicly.



Davis and co-owner Michael Paloma created Beverly Hills Film Studios as a privately funded company that developed into a non-reporting publicly traded company.



Davis contends that BSEG legal representative Michael Gardiner has numerous instances of an unstated conflict of interest which jeopardized the validity of the settlement. Gardiner previously represented Michael Paloma and BJ Davis and is now representing the company in lawsuits against both former clients.



Davis said that BSEG has supposedly acquisitioned BHFS and it's properties but neither Paloma or Davis signed off on any merger or acquisition as substantial owners in the intellectual properties.



Highly accredited, veteran filmmaker BJ Davis commented: "I hoped to spare the film titles from being associated with lawsuits as that can diminish their potential commercial value. However, in light of such paramount mismanagement and inexperience, I feel compelled to stop these elements and individuals that are doing irreparable damage to the film properties."
