Break Media, the Internet's premier entertainment community for men, today announced the premiere of "VLOG," an original, full-length feature film about the in-depth investigation into the death of real-life internet "vlogger," Brooke Marks.
"VLOG" is the second element of the ground-breaking "Internet Killer" project developed by Twisted Pictures, producers of SAW, exclusively for Break.com. Twisted Pictures combined the
video distribution power and social networking elements offered by Break.com and the web star power of "E-lebrity" Brooke Marks, in developing this new extreme-horror online experience.
"Our partnership with Twisted Pictures, a leading creator of content for men 18-34, reaffirms our position as the best platform for reaching men 18-34 online with both professional and
user generated content," said Keith Richman, chief executive officer of Break Media.
The "Internet Killer" project is composed of two main elements: A twelve-part series of video blog entries, starring Brooke Marks, and "VLOG," the 71 minute full-length feature horror
film.
The twelve video blog entries, called "Brooke Marks Speaks Out," revolve around Brooke documenting her personal life for all of her fans to watch on Break.com. She vlogged about her
dating and sex life until the boyfriends she discussed were suspiciously killed one by one. The videos of their murders were featured on an unrelated IP address, which was leaked in the
comments section of each episode. The Break.com audience debated the legitimacy of the videos in their comments, and guessed who could be responsible for the murders. When Brooke finally
discovered the IP address, she went straight to the cops. Two days later, the murder of Brooke herself was posted on the mysterious IP address.
"Brooke Marks Speaks Out" currently yields over five million views on Break.com.
"VLOG" premieres today, June 11, on Break.com featuring one new Webisode a day, for four weeks, weekdays only through July 4.
