Larry Green Productions, a Bellingham, Washington-based autograph company, dealing in rare and collectible celebrity autographed posters and photographs, has filed suit against actor
Roger Moore for breach of contract. In the suit for unspecified damages (Ref Superior Court case no. CV 06-0553-RSL), Larry Green Productions alleges that Moore signed an exclusive, three
year contract to sign James Bond related images, including posters from the movies "Moonraker", "For Your Eyes Only" and 8x10 photographs "evocative of the James Bond films." The suit
further alleges that Moore reneged on the agreement, breaching the exclusivity provisions, by signing posters for a competing company. The dispute also alleges interference by Moore with
contracts Larry Green Productions had or expected to receive from several other actors in the spy-movie category. To-date, Moore has not answered the allegations, and is seeking to have
the case removed from Bellingham to Federal Court in Seattle, Washington.
Moore starred in seven James Bond films throughout the seventies and early eighties. He received a CBE (Commander of the British Empire) award in March 1999 and was awarded a knighthood
in June 2003.
