The first novel in Michael Warren's Glory River tetralogy has just been published by a respected small press in North Carolina. "The Estrangement of the Rain God" has just been released
by Tudor Publishers of Greensboro.
"The story--with crucial scenes set in Malaysia, Paris and London--of a loving father torn from his children by divorce and forced to start all over again with a new woman while
maintaining his children as a "family"; a memorable Native American sidekick; the vividly drawn drama of losing it all and yet making a stand to rebuild, all combine to make this work a
very suitable property for development into a feature film," Warren said about his debut work.
Warren attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he studied with acclaimed novelist and former NC Poet Laureate, Fred Chappell.
Originally a native of South Carolina, Warren now lives in North Carolina. "The Estrangement of the Rain God" is his first novel.
