Robert Bayne, the producer/director, was one of the first Americans in Belarus after the breakup of the Soviet Union. He assembled a well connected team to complete this film despite pressure from the Belarusian KGB to drop the project. Part of the film'ss proceeds will go to the Chernobyl children in Belarus.
