Veteran advertising, news and entertainment producer Paul Dewey announces the launch of deweymedia + partners, a video production and services company that will create video productions for the Corporate, PR, Education and Non-Profit worlds.
Joining the deweymedia + partners team are Emmy Award winning, veteran news and documentary producers Charlie Stuart and David Saltman. Based in Boston and New York, deweymedia + partners
will bring skills from the news, advertising and documentary film worlds to the corporate video production market.
Dewey has produced content for more than 50 Fortune 500 companies in his 25 years of creating film and video. Until February Dewey was a corporate video producer with Boston video
production company, North Bridge Productions, where he won dozens of honors including awards given by the League of American Communications Professionals, the Telly awards, the National
Professional Videographers Association of New England and the Admissions Marketing Report awards. "We are in the business of creating first class content for clients as we show them
creative and cost-effective new ways to execute their strategic marketing goals," Dewey says. "But bottom line profit doesn't mean much if client productions are not great, and this team
knows how to deliver great. Teams with this combination of storytelling experience and production knowledge can be counted on one hand."
Dewey is partnering with two of the most experienced news and documentary producers in the country. Charlie Stuart and David Saltman will both be based out of New York City, and will
travel across the country to produce video content for clients.
Charlie Stuart has created more than 50 hours of programming on most U.S. TV networks as well as a number of international TV networks. His work includes eight Frontlines for PBS and
co-productions with ABC, HBO, The Discovery Channel, Lifetime, CNN, MSNBC, National Geographic, ESPN and Spike TV. He has also produced stories for 60 Minutes, and has won five national
EMMY awards and two DuPont awards. Stuart recently wrapped a film about Justice Louis Brandeis and is currently working on a film about extremists in the Middle East, which he is filming
in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Gaza. He received a MacArthur grant for this project.
David Saltman has worked for CBS, ABC, CNN, and CNBC and has produced documentaries for PBS, including the 13 part series, "What We Eat," and a four-hour PBS miniseries, "The Power Game."
During his time with CNN, Saltman ran the financial news documentary unit interviewing and profiling a wide range of leaders from business and culture including Alan Greenspan, Richard
Branson, Yo Yo Ma, Phil Knight, Michael Miliken, Larry Ellison, George Plimpton, Dean Koontz, John Glenn and Deepak Chopra. Saltman shared a Peabody award for his work for his work for
the CBS News program Sunday Morning and six of his CBS news pieces have been inducted into the Smithsonian. Saltman, who won an Emmy working on assignment with Fox, has also written five
books.
deweymedia + partners will focus on the corporate, PR, education and non-profit worlds in the coming year, in addition to developing branded web content. Saltman and Dewey share a passion
for fine food having both worked in the 'food video production space.' Dewey profiled a series of professional chefs on CNN programming, and he also worked for the Food TV Network after
graduating from Columbia Journalism School. Saltman profiled a number of culinary artists on CNN's Pinnacle show including Julia Child, a seminal figure in America's love affair with fine
food, and Sirio Maccione, owner of Le Cirque in Manhattan.
"Paul Dewey brings a highly creative approach and a unique blend of advertising, news and high end corporate production skills that are unheard of in the corporate video production
business," says Jesse Harriott, who works for a leading online recruitment web site in the Boston area. Harriott, who has worked extensively with Dewey, says, "There's almost nothing in
the film and video production worlds that Dewey has not done. He was also a highly regarded news producer for CNN Financial news in New York, running their personal finance unit."
The principal deweymedia + partners office will be located in Concord, MA, where Dewey will run corporate operations. Productions will be run from both New York and Concord.
