videogrunt Makes 1 on QuickTime Content Guide

videogrunt, the first podcast series from small Silicon Valley startup gruntmedia, this week made it to the top slot on QuickTime'ss Content Guide. The podcast sits alongside major media stars including Madonna, Ashlee Simpson, and V for Vendetta. While audio podcasting is well established, video podcasting is emerging as the next media frontier. As more television and film properties move to online distribution, the adoption of rich media for consumption on personal computers and mobile devices is expected to grow commensurately. Video podcasters foresee that their small-scale productions will fill a content niche that lies somewhere between the amateur videos shown popular websites such as You Tube and the big-budget Hollywood film.
