October 11, 2006 -- Bay Area photographer, Dave Monley brings his breathtaking exhibit 's8220;The Broader View's8221; to the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History. This showing will be available for a limited time beginning with a presentation by Monley on October 14th, 2006 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and the exhibit will conclude on December 30th, 2006.
's8220;The Broader view's8221; offers a view of the world in Monley's8217;s perspective using the panorama technique. This innovative method, not easily mastered by most, takes on a luminous quality making the viewer feel as though they are at the location of the scene depicted.
Monley studied his skill at San Jose State University where he majored in Fine Art. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards that include; AIGA, Murphy Addy, SUMMIT as well as the Western Art Directors Award. His work has been featured in the Smithsonian Magazine, California Wild and California Tour.
