The General Lee to Make Appearance at Childrens Museum
Remember the bright orange 1969 Dodge Charger that graced our television screens on the television show The Dukes of Hazzard between 1979 and 1985 and now has made a comeback in syndication A General Lee of Dukes of Hazzard fame will be making an appearance at the Children'ss Museum in Oak Lawn on October 7 between 9am and 2pm. Also making an appearance will be a Hazzard County Sheriff'ss car. Travis Bell, owner of the General Lee and President of the North American General Lee Fan Club, will be on-hand to talk to people about some of the car'ss history and some of the history of the show.
The Fox Valley Agency of Prudential Financial Services is teaming up with the Oak Lawn Police department to conduct the I.D. A Kid program and will be providing complimentary identification cards for your children. During the event, free fingerprinting and photographs will be taken, parents can also use the identification cards to record such information as a child'ss physical description and address information.
There will be games, entertainment, crafts and activities for the whole family. Admission to the museum is free. The event starts at 9:00 am on October 7 and will run until 2:00 pm. If you have any questions about the event, please call (708) 423-6709. Come out and spend the day with us!
