Canandaigua Art Walk The Chosen Spot for Art in the Finger Lakes

Art Walk is Friday, June 29th, 2007, 2-9pm, featuring local galleries and shops with an artistic touch in Canandaigua, New York. Enjoy art exhibits, live demonstrations, and more. Art Walk comes along twice a year, summer and fall, but summer is enjoyed because of the beautiful weather.

Artists and anyone who appreciates art will be amazed, Aimee Ward said, from Finger Lakes Gallery and Frame (www.galleryandframe.com). Each year it gets bigger and better. There will be local representation and nationwide artists represented during Art Walk. Live demonstrations include a live ballet dance, jewelry making, and painting.

Canandaigua is the chosen spot for Art, becoming recognized as the area'ss largest hot spot for art. Nestled between Buffalo and Syracuse, just a few minutes from Rochester, Canandaigua is an easy spot for art enthusiasts.

Food and refreshments are always enjoyed at Art Walk, including wine from local vineyards. Red balloons that can be seen from Main Street will easily mark the fourteen local participants this year.

Participants: Finger Lakes Gallery and Frame, All Things Art, Adorn Jewelry and Accessories, Pat Rini Rohrer Gallery, Techner'ss Changes Everything, Michelle Kisly Studio and Gallery, Finger Lakes Ballet Academy, Christopher Wheat Gallery and Studio, G. Jones Furniture, Gallery 74, Nadal Glass, Vagabond Gallery, Joolz Jewelry, and Wick-edly Sent Soap and Candle Company.

Art Walk kicks off the summer art season in the Finger Lakes area. Visit for fine art, food, wine, and fun on Friday, June 29th, 2007 from 2pm to 9pm on Main Street. Free for all ages. For more information about Canandaigua and events visit www.downtowncanandaigua.com
