Christmas Train Ride to Santas House at Travel Town Museum



n 19 evenings between Thanksgiving and Christmas, families will be able to take a miniature train ride to visit Santa at his house at the North Pole. Once they arrive they will visit with Santa, get a picture with him, if desired, then get back on the train to return home along a decorated and music filled track.

Los Angeles, California November 3, 2007 -- For the fifth year in a row, Travel Town Train Museum in Griffith Park will host a unique holiday event starting November 24, 2007. On 19 evenings between Thanksgiving and Christmas, families will be able to take a miniature train ride to visit Santa at his house at the North Pole. Once they arrive they will visit with Santa, get a picture with him, if desired, then get back on the train to return home along a decorated and music filled track.

This event is operated by Travel Town Railroad in cooperation with the City of Los Angeles, Department of Recreation and Parks. It is a wonderful alternative to visits to the mall and is a perfect addition to a Holiday Evening in Griffith Park before or after the Department of Water and Power's spectacular Festival of Lights.
