Visual Explosion Fuses with Lifestyle Interpretation to Bring Atlantas First Experiential Art Gallery

April 1, 2005 -- Atlanta's Art District welcomes their newest neighbor, Frame 253 art gallery. Christening the vernal equinox with a blooming celebration, the Trinity Avenue gallery celebrates its official grand opening April 3, 2005 from 5:00pm - 8:00 pm.

As one enters Frame 253, you cannot help but notice the eclectic character the infrastructure displays. With lights that pour from the ceilings mimicking glowing rain, to softly lit partitions that give way to what is inside without spilling the entire secret, to artistic brilliance being displayed in every fine details from the door handles to the stair wells, Frame 253 manages to not only capture the simple complexities of expression but extract the pure essence of it. With art displayed in an array of mediums ranging from woods and metals to acrylics and oils, the vivid displays compel any one who enters to leave their world behind and transcend into a world that entices the mind's eye. Incorporating a unique blend of chic and industrial, the gallery's main level is a Soho, loft style gallery with nude walls, which are prepared to be dressed by plausible artiste and designers from across the world.

Frame not only serves as a gallery but as a studio and space. Differentiating itself from other artistic venues in the vicinity, Frame has emerged as an "artist run" gallery. "When we conceptualized Frame, we wanted it to be a space that artist could take ownership in", stated gallery co-founder Assunto Banks. While the top level serves as a display arena, the lower level is an artistic abode for all modes of imagination, including canvas, sculpture, fashion, film, photography, graphic art, painting, and jewelry design. The ideology behind the name derives from the space or frame in which we all work and express ourselves", stated Reggie Week, gallery co-founder.

Frame 253 aims to be an artistic hub for Atlanta's inventive community. Abiding by their mission to expose and educate, the gallery will hold informational courses for art novices and connoisseurs on the intricacies of art selecting and investing. Adding a lifestyle division to the gallery, the venue will host and array of events and soirees that enhance the overall appreciation for inspired manifestation.
