Chilean American Artist Tomas Burkey Exhibits in Step Galllery June 2nd in SoHo New York
May 18, 2005 -- Toms Brkey, a Chilean-American, was raised with the memory and influences of both ends of America, where he studied and researched the Ancestral Memory of the continent.
His powerful line and defined colors stand out as works of art with an original format, full of content and energy.
Brkey's work reveals the sleeping soul of the Earth, combining sound and form and creating a bridge to the distant past, thus returning to us the ancient magic through work imbued with hidden spaces, light and mystery.
After painting a mural for the well-known Chilean Architect, F. Rencoret, Brkey returns to New York, where he resides, to exhibit his newest work with which he intends to awaken our collective " Ancestral Memory".
