Starfish Garden by AKAirways at BRAC

AKAirways is pleased to announce the upcoming installation of Starfish Garden as part of an exhibition at Bronx River Art Center from November 2 to December 7, 2007.

You are invited to attend the party celebrating the opening of the show Friday, November 2, from 6-9pm.

Inspired by the dynamism and variegation of starfish and other sea creatures, Starfish Garden is a ceiling installation comprising large breathing inflatable objects lit from the inside by LEDs. The shape and size of each starfish is unique, and each individual element touches and affects the movement of the others, reflecting the dynamism and variety of life. The "breathing"--inflation/deflation--and the lights are sequenced for each element. www.akairways.com.
