Lauren Brianna Chavez Makes Mark on Americas Most Talented Kids PAX TV



May 13, 2005 -- After appearing on Americas Most Talented Kid ON PAX TV, Lauren Brianna Chavez a resident of Whittier, California is taking the entertainment industry by storm. Lauren Brianna Chavez is 13 years old, a seventh grader at Whittier Christian Junior High School. Lauren grew up in Whitter, CA. Lauren's talent is God sent and her love of performing comes from her heart. Lauren's favorite part of being on America's Most Talented Kids was meeting all the contestants and just being able to perform. Lauren has been dancing and singing since she was 6 years old. Lauren performed in the musical the Music Man at the Hollywood Bowl along with Eric McCormick, (Will and Grace) and Kristen Chenoweth (Broadway Singer and Actress). Lauren has been in several commercials, most recently in the J.C. Penney back to school commercial. She was a Sparkid for the Los Angeles Sparks 2004 season, Lauren recently appeared on Mad TV, and worked on the pre production for The Cat in the Hat Movie. Lauren preformed at a 2005 Oscar party hosted by Paula Abdul. She has performed at several Mattel shows, and recently performed in New York for Nike during New York fashion week. She has danced with "A" Lister Usher at a Teen People event and was hired to dance and sing at Jane Seymour's son's birthday party. Lauren performed at the Macy's Passport 2004 fashion show in San Francisco and Los Angeles, which is the Elizabeth Taylor foundation to find a cure for AIDS/HIV, The Celebrity Center in Hollywood (Youth for a Positive Change Benefit), Sony Back Lot (West Side Children's Center Benefit), Northridge College (Abused and Foster Children Benefit). Lauren has sang and danced at many events in Whittier and throughout the Los Angeles area. She enjoys music from all eras; some of her favorite singers are Louis Armstrong, Elvis Presley, The Temptations, Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, Ciara, and Whitney Houston. Lauren also enjoys sports; she is on her schools Volleyball and Softball teams. When she's not busy performing or auditioning for her next project, she is busy keeping up with her schoolwork. Lauren will be performing at the Universal City Walk on May 22.
