Catnip Radio Announces Support for Reading Festival 2005
May 13, 2005 -- The Reading Festival is one of a pair of 3-day events held in England in late August, featuring the best rock and metal acts from around the world. This year's festival is headlined by the Pixies, Foo Fighters, and Iron Maiden.
Catnip Radio (at
http://www.catnip-radio.com/) is a fast-growing Internet radio station with regular listeners across three continents. The station is on air from 10am till midnight UK time, with plans to add a DJ in the US to the lineup for overnight shows. DJ Kitty, Catnip Radio's head DJ, said: "We're happy to mark our support for the Reading Festival by working with the unofficial Reading Festival website, and look forward to the Bank Holiday weekend!"
Catnip Radio prides itself in the fact that it is in independent radio station, broadcasting music and programs that will attract a wide audience. The music played ranges from pop to heavy metal, from Madonna to Marilyn Manson. Despite the wide range of music, quality is guaranteed. The DJ's and behind the scenes staff all donate their time and effort on a voluntary basis, which just makes the rapid rise Catnip Radio has experienced all the more remarkable.
The unofficial Reading Festival 2005 website (at
http://www.readingfestivalonline.co.uk/) is featuring Catnip Radio as its semi-official radio station in the run-up to the festival. Despite its unofficial status, it attracts almost as many visitors as the real Reading Festival website.
