Sturgis by The Randall Zwart Band willOpen and Close Light Show at Sturgis Motorcycle Rally
May 15, 2005 -- The song "Sturgis," by the Randall Zwart Band (formerly known as Zwart), has long been thought of as the anthem of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, an event which draws over half of a million visitors from all over the world. This year the song takes on a new role as the opening and closing song of the LFI International Laser Light Show displayed each evening during the rally.
The laser light extravaganza will feature a light show choreographed to music and shown on a 2,376 square foot screen. The company has done shows for Van Halen and the Judds and has provided attractions at venues including the Las Vegas Hilton and MGM Resort and Casino.
The Randall Zwart Band will soon release their seventh album. The recording, which is a soundtrack to their forthcoming DVD release, The Road 2 Sturgis - The Movie, will be available this summer. The Road 2 Sturgis - The Movie is a full length documentary film that was shot on tour with
the band over a one year period.
The band has made three songs available for download. "Sturgis (Live)" and "Good Deal With a Bad Man" are from the upcoming soundtrack release, while "Lucy" is one of
the band 's signature songs. A link to the free downloads can be found on
